As a corporately responsible company Ericsson looked to become the market leaders in community consultation, the benchmark for the industry. PSA to helped communicate this new standard to government along with proving general political counsel.
Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association
After coming under relentless attack from ill informed backbenchers determined to undermine computer games industry, PSA were called in to advise on how Parliament could be better informed of the positive economic, educational and cultural impact of games. After a successful first year PSA advised ELSPA to alter its focus and establish a series of policy initiatives with the aim of ensuring the games industry is seen to set rather than react to the political agenda.
Home Retail Group plc
Since its demerger from GUS and its establishment as a new member of the Footsie 100, PSA have been brought in to monitor political issues in the UK and EU which impact on the group and offer political counsel and analysis.
Isle of Capri Casinos
After much politicking over the number of Super Casinos to be built in Britain this Florida based casino company hired PSA to help better understand what political forces were at work to preventing the number of casinos being increased, and to help to communicate the positive messages about the industry to allay any fears about gambling stoked up in the press.
The Sports Nexus
The brainchild of some of the UK's most senior business people the Sports Nexus was created to act as a think tank/pressure group to give critical analysis to non governmental bodies who control UK Sport. PSA were hired to establish and run this organisation on behalf of its directors. Within one year the Sports Nexus had the backing of some of the most famous faces in sport, gained the respect of government and a following in the UK and foreign press. Its reports have created serious thinking, debate and change in some of the UK's most powerful sporting institutions.
BDP Media
Following significant government departmental changes, BDP Media where concerned that their contract to supply educational training programmes was under threat. PSA were therefore tasked with advising how BDP might strengthen their position within the new regime to ensure BDP retain their contract. PSA's insight into the working of the government departments concerned and the subsequent strategy employed ensured that BDP not only retained their current contract but gained a much larger one defeating the more established competition.
